William M. Wolfarth served as the Mayor of the City of Miami during the passage of several key building and safety ordinances in April 1950.
He signed Ordinance No. 3963, which established regulations for dangerous buildings and created the Building Board of Appeals, on April 5, 1950 (p. 359). He also signed Ordinance No. 3965, which amended the Building Permit Process to allow sole owners to perform minor repairs and additions under certain conditions, on the same date (p. 361).
Wolfarth’s signature appears alongside F. L. Correll, the City Clerk, attesting to the adoption of these laws (p. 359, p. 361).
